THRESHOLD Guides & Walkthroughs
Story and Chase tutorials for THRESHOLD—from first lobby to Scrow speed routes.
All THRESHOLD guides
This hub is the map to every walkthrough on the wiki. THRESHOLD is a Roblox BETA horror experience by Reskioat (Fe & Zy) with two pillars: narrative Story — Episode 1 [DESPAIR] and replayable Chase Mode maps (Eli and Scrow). Start simple, then specialize.
Beginner path
- Getting Started — modes, controls, flashlight/battery habits, mic tips, first-session checklist.
- Story Episode 1 DESPAIR — Blox Street 12 investigation, clues, escape flow (note: Episode content is under rework in BETA).
- Chase Mode overview — hearing mechanic, hiding, batteries, Eli vs Scrow differences.
Chase deep dives
- Eli maintenance keys, batteries & radar — how to secure all three keys and keep lights alive.
- Beat Scrow Chase Mode — pages, RNG passwords, food court lines, Godspeed, why you should not trust Scrow’s dialogue.
Signature systems & entities
- Mic & Chat Hearing — mute habits, chat discipline, why open mics wipe lobbies.
- Eli entity — Story vs Chase role, scream-cue tips, counters.
- Scrow entity — mall lure, RNG passwords, Godspeed meta.
- Badges — confirmed Roblox badge names and BETA caveats.

How Story and Chase fit together
Story teaches tone: you investigate Blox Street 12, piece together despair-soaked clues, and meet the Eli thread that Chase later weaponizes as a pursuit map. Expect atmospheric walking, interaction prompts, and sanity-flavored presentation rather than a pure score attack.
Chase Mode is where most repeat playtime lives. The entity can hear your microphone and chat. Speaking, laughing, or typing at the wrong moment is a legitimate way to die. Eli’s objective loop is find three maintenance keys, manage batteries, and use radar when powered. Scrow’s loop is collect pages for a per-run RNG keypad password, often contested around mall / food court space, with the Godspeed perk (+50% walk and sprint) defining high-level movement.
Community creators frequently publish full Story+Chase recordings and focused speedruns. Use the embedded videos on each guide page (one per article) as visual backup—never as a substitute for reading the hearing and battery warnings.
Recommended order for a first weekend
Session 1: Finish Getting Started habits. Clear Story once with mic muted if you are jumpy. Skim Updates so you know Episode 1 may look different after reworks.
Session 2: Enter Chase on Eli with friends or solo. Practice silent play. Follow the keys guide until you can escape without panic sprinting into dead ends.
Session 3: Unlock or equip Godspeed if available to your progression, then learn Scrow. Accept that page RNG will create throwaway runs. Log passwords only for your lobby—they will not work next match.
Session 4: Compare your habits to the tier list. Fix the lowest tier mistake you keep making (usually mic or batteries, not “need more ESP”).
Tips that apply to every guide
- Internal links on this wiki use trailing slashes and stay locale-agnostic in the source—follow them from any language build.
- BETA means collision quirks, VO lines, and objective UI can change after patches. If a step disagrees with live game, trust the build you are in and check Updates.
- Do not confuse Scrow’s keypad string with promo codes.
- Duo queue helps on Eli’s large map; Scrow solos are viable for speed when pages spawn kindly.
- Keep one browser tab on linktr.ee/Threshold_Studio for Discord and studio posts.
What we will add next
As Episode 2 and new Chase maps appear, this hub will gain child pages for those routes. We will not invent mechanics. Until official notes land, treat anything beyond Eli, Scrow, and Episode 1 DESPAIR as rumor.
Browse the full list above whenever you wipe on the same objective twice—the matching guide almost always covers the forgotten battery, the noisy mic, or the page you skipped behind the food court.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers about Chase Mode, Story DESPAIR, codes, and escapes.
Which guide should a brand-new player open first?
Start with Getting Started, then Story DESPAIR once, then the Chase Mode overview before map-specific Eli or Scrow pages.
Is Chase Mode or Story better for learning?
Story teaches tone and context; Chase teaches survival skills you will grind. Most repeat value is in Chase.
Why do some Episode 1 steps not match my game?
THRESHOLD is BETA and Episode 1 has been flagged for rework. Use Updates plus live prompts when layouts shift.
Do these guides include every secret badge?
They cover core escape loops and key systems. Badge lists belong on the wiki overview and may expand after studio confirmations.
Where are codes and scripts?
Codes and Scripts are separate hubs linked above—not guide children—so promo status and executor risk stay clearly separated.
